Loving Lodge Lane

Work is continuing to improve the area around Lodge Lane, L8 since the community clean-up there at the end of June. Projects are underway with shops and businesses to cut littering in the area, green the area with plants and hanging baskets, and develop some of the derelict and empty sites. In the near future new art works and a sculpture trail will be developed in the area. Have you visited Lodge Lane lately? The area now has many new restaurants and shops, and the Tiber project is letting enterprise units for micro businesses.

Yvette Cooper, Shadow Home Secretary recently visited the area to speak to councillors and community members about the effect of the disturbances in August on local residents. Here Laura shows the Shadow Minister some of the on-going work to improve Lodge Lane.
